The inspiration behind Pure Silks came from a deeply personal experience. When we were searching for the softest and most gentle bedding for our newborn baby, we discovered the incredible properties of silk: gentle on sensitive skin, naturally hypoallergenic, and ideal for regulating body temperature. Yet, finding high-quality silk bedding, especially for children, was almost impossible. Pure Silks was founded on Frederiksberg in 2008, inspired by a love for silk bedding and a desire to make the health benefits of pure mulberry silk accessible to more people.

Our goal has always been to bring families the unparalleled benefits of silk—whether it’s for better sleep, improved skin, or simply the indulgent feeling of luxury.
