Pure Silks is a family-run business founded in Copenhagen in 2008 with the vision of equipping good quality mulberry silk in children's and adults’ bedrooms throughout Europe. Our mission is to provide the best quality products and superior customer service. We believe in creating an environment of comfort and relaxation by providing customers with all-natural, ethical, and sustainable products. We also pledge to pass on this knowledge and experience to each generation, so our family-run business can continue to thrive and share the benefits of good quality sleep for generations to come.

Annemette, Founder of Pure Silks:

“The idea of sleeping in silk was born at the same time as my son Alexander. I looked at this little human, and I was blown away by how unspoiled and how pure he was. His skin was so delicate, so perfect and I wanted to ensure he got the best night's sleep possible. So, I began researching and investigating the experience of children sleeping with silk. I had heard of silk as a material that was renowned for its luxurious feel, but I had no idea that sleeping in silk was not only a luxury experience but also an important part of maintaining healthy sleep. The idea of creating a shield for my little son by wrapping him in silk at night appealed to me, and I started searching for silk bed linen for children. As I couldn’t find it in any shops at the time, my childhood friend Karen very kindly made a set of silk bedding for Alexander. And that was it! No way was he ever going back to normal cotton after that! To this day he - and the siblings that followed – sleep in silk every night.

It is a challenge to find 100% mulberry silk of good quality. When I discovered a workshop in China with proper work conditions and good environmental ethics, I created the web shop and Pure SIlks has since then provided hundreds of families with the experience of sleeping in silk. Today, Pure Silk continues to prioritize the customer experience and make sure to provide the highest quality silk products with a variety of options available in different sizes and colours. We love providing customer advice and guidance to ensure our customers are getting the best out of their purchases. After all; all people deserve to sleep in silk.
